John Bischof, Esq

Attorney John L. Bischof graduated with honors from Rutgers University and the Florida State University College of Law. Born and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Bischof joined the U.S. Navy in 1983, whereupon he served for 13 distinguished years as a Naval Intelligence Officer, both in America and overseas. He served three of those years working as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (N.C.I.S) in Naples, Italy, where he specialized in the investigation of civil and criminal cases. During this tour of duty, Lieutenant Bischof also served as the N.C.I.S. anti-terrorism threat expert for all U.S. Naval port visits to the Mediterranean. Following this, Lt. Bischof served for five years in the Special Operations Division at the Atlantic Intelligence Command in Norfolk, Virginia. His duties included intelligence analysis for Seal Team Six and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and the Joint Service Commendation Medal for his services.

During his 24 years of legal practice, Mr. Bischof worked for leading Florida law firms, primarily in the areas of insurance defense before opening his private practice in 2004. He owned and operated his own legal practice in Tallahassee, Florida from 2004 through 2016. Here, his focus was on Bankruptcy, Debt Relief, Foreclosure Defense, and consumer and professional breach of contract actions. Mr. Bischof has now implemented First Party Insurance Defense to his extensive list of knowledge and experience as a practicing attorney. His experience and knowledge in the Insurance Defense field have given him the ability to practice and apply the best methods to protect Homeowners against their carriers who wrongfully denied their property damage claims. Lastly, he is now a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and a qualified Arbitrator making him a great asset to the firm and an invaluable resource to our friends and clients.
